The young guy who's taking care of this place is making you feel that you're at your buddy's place to hang out and eat some treats, and treats they have. The beef with french fries is great, the meat is tender and the sauce phenomenal. Highly recommended if you want to feel like you belong here and if you want to eat something good.No issues with anything, and they've even packed our leftovers so we could eat them later at home. 10/10.

What a nice spot for a relaxing lunch on my first full day in Funchal. I ate on the patio and my server was friendly and attentive - and she even helped me practice Portuguese. I’m glad she recommended the espetada with fried milho and Batatas fritos. Meat was rare and delish. This is my favourite kind of dining experience in Portugal. Friendly, tasty, unassuming, and excellent value for money. I will be back :)

Meat is tender and jucy and fries are home made.Portion also is big and you'll not go out hungry.Everything is super fresh.The prices are also really affordable.So much recommendedWe also got once grapes for free.

Had a blast!! I had limpets and garlic bread as a starter, couldn’t help myself but to finish it off and lick my fingers literally . As a main I had the salmon, which was DIVINE!! Oven baked and absolutely amazinggg!! A must try! The service was super friendly and welcoming, despite being a local I still had a VIP experience.

While i was on a small family holiday while browsing through google to check for some restaurants near by i passed by this restaurant, read the reviews and saw the menu and said let’s give it a go.And yes it was the best choice that i had made on my last day in Funchal. The fish was perfectly cooked and delicious seasoning on it.A must go place when in funchal.Try the Dorado fish and the scabbard fish when at the place

Food was absolutely amazing! Service was alright, the facilities could be better, outdoor seating is probably preferable -- but the food! Really good! Can recommend the espetada in particular.
